GOTS is an international certification organisation for textile. This means that you as a customer has an easy job to find organic and “safe” products with very little effort.

From their web page you can read:

“Only textile products that contain a minimum of 70% organic fibres can become GOTS certified. All chemical inputs such as dyestuffs and auxiliaries used must meet certain environmental and toxicological criteria. For B-LIGHT products we use only 100 % organic cotton fabric. Some garments has 5 % lycra for flexibility purposes. Our manufacturer has annual and random inspections that make sure that all steps in the GOTS guidelines are followed. The manufacture need to be totally transparent for inspections. From the first seed and all the way to the finished fashion.

Washing & care instructions:

Always wash new garments separately the first couple of washes. Some colors will leak so be aware and wash separately or with similar colors.

Wash at 30-40 degrees, since this is normally enough and saves energy. Wash at 60 degrees if the garment is particularly stained or dirty.
